Tehran, Ankara sign co-op agreement on agriculture, foodstuff
TERHAN- Federation of Iranian Food Association and Central Union of Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperative signed a cooperation agreement at the place of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) on Saturday, IRNA reported.
According to the penned agreement, the two sides plan to utilize their full capacities to produce healthy and quality food for themselves as well as the other countries in the region.
During this signing ceremony, a member of ICCIMA Board of Directors Hossein Pirmoazzen named food industry as one the main fields for cooperation between Iran and Turkey saying that the two sides have agreed on construction of joint modern industrial parks in Iranian provinces of Qazvin, Qom and some other regions.
The two neighbor countries have been negotiating construction of joint industrial parks during the recent years.
